Middle School's Heartwarming Sendoff To Special Olympics Athletes
Watch this heartwarming video of Marlborough's Whitcomb School cheering on athletes as they parade the hall in a send off rally.
MARLBOROUGH, MA—With stories of bullying or assaults at schools across the country pepper or news feeds, we sometimes forget that some beautiful moments happen at school. School can foster belonging, positive reinforcement and togetherness, as witnessed in a recent display at Marlborough's Whitcomb Middle School.
Students and staff at the school coordinated a "send off" rally for students headed to compete in the Special Olympics event in Framingham. Principal Brian Daniels, Superintendent Maureen Greulich and Mayor Arthur Vigeant came together for this rally with the students and staff.
