MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project will visit Marlborough four times in July to spray for mosquitoes, according to a new schedule released last week.

The mosquito control project makes regular stops throughout the summer in a few dozen cities and towns in Worcester and Middlesex counties. In the summer, CMMCP typically uses the pesticide Zenivex E4 to kill adult mosquitoes. Pesticide applications in the spring typically target mosquito larvae.

In July, the control project will spray in Marlborough on July 7, 13, 20 and 27. Check the CMMCP website on spray days after 3:30 p.m. to see which parts of the city they will target.
