New Year, New Marlborough I-495, I-290 Ramp Closures

MARLBOROUGH, MA — MassDOT is back working on a rehabilitation project at the intersection of I-495 and I-290 in Marlborough and Hudson.

Starting Monday, the ramp from I-495 southbound to I-290 westbound will close each night for construction work. The detours will last from about 11 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the next morning, which means the closures will last until Friday morning.

If you're driving during the closures, a detour will direct you to use exit 63A (Route 20 eastbound) and reverse direction onto I-495 northbound. That means drivers will skip the whole interchange to turn around one exit south near the Apex Entertainment area to head toward Worcester.
