As we approach this holiday season, what are you thankful for?

I am extremely thankful for my Mom. My Mom is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet. She has spent nights in a cage nursing a dog back to health after being hit by a car. She has spent nights at people's houses to nurse a sick one back to health. She even gave 24/7 care to my aunt who was dying of Parkinson's for over a year. It should be noted that she is not a nurse, she just cares for people the best she can. My Mom is always the one people call for a ride to the hospital or home from the hospital. If you ask any of her friends they will tell you she is an angel. She never takes praise or reward for her actions. She just gives everything she can without thought. We don't have a lot of money to spare but what she gives of herself is invaluable.
