Plane Narrowly Misses Swing Set In Crash Near MA Air Field
The crash happened Sunday afternoon near Minute Man Air Field. The passengers were taken by helicopter to a local hospital.

STOW, MA — Three people were injured Sunday when a small plane crashed near Minute Man Air Field in Stow just a few feet from a home.
The crash happened near 1 p.m. Sunday near a home along Taylor Road just south of the air field. The crash scene was just a few feet from a child's trampoline and swing set. The crash happened shortly after the plane took off from the nearby air field.
Firefighters arrived to find three passengers in the Cessna plane, one who was able to exit by themselves. All three were taken by helicopter to a local hospital, but the Stow Fire Department said they suffered non-life threatening injuries.

No one else was injured in the crash. The plane knocked down a tree, which grazed a nearby home and caused superficial damage, fire officials said.
Firefighters and police from Stow, Hudson, Maynard and Boxborough all responded to the scene.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
