Ramp Closures Coming To I-495, I-290 Interchange: MassDOT
The nightly closures will detour drivers down I-495 to reach the northbound lanes.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Drivers using the I-290 and I-495 interchange in Marlborough will experience detours on three nights this week, according to MassDOT.
The ramp from eastbound I-290 to northbound I-495 will close on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights beginning at 11 p.m. for construction work. The ramp will reopen each following morning by around 5 a.m.

During the overnight work, drivers traveling on I-290 eastbound looking to access I-495 northbound will be directed to take I-495 southbound and use exit 63A (Route 20 eastbound) to access I-495 northbound.
MassDOT is urging drivers to use caution during the detour. Signs will also be in place along the highway advertising the detour.
