Several Car Break-Ins Reported In Marlborough: Police

Police are offering advice to residents following a string of break-ins reported overnight.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Several unlocked cars were broken into in the area of Taylor Road and Woodland Road near the Hudson line overnight Wednesday into Thursday, according to police.

"Please remember to keep your car doors locked and remove valuables," police wrote in a Facebook post. "Car break-ins are a crime of opportunity. Don’t become a victim!"

Marlborough is one of many communities across the state that have been plagued by this problem. Police in Andover, Milford, and Tewksbury have reported an increase in this type of crime.
