Voters Say Kennedy's Pub is the Place to Be on St. Paddy's Day

While it seems there are several local businesses gearing up to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, voters in this week's Best of Patch: Readers' Choice poll chose as the place to go.

With 36 percent of the vote, Kennedy's claimed the win over runners-up and . 

"Jay Murphy and his band the McMurphy's will be playing music in the restaurant all day Saturday and of course we will be offering our great corned beef and cabbage," said manager and host Julie Doherty. "People sing and dance; It is just a great time."

Doherty said that they were thrilled to be picked as the winner.

"It gives us great pleasure that people recognized us," she said. "The staff really look forward to this every year."
