Who's Running In Marlborough 2023 Election? See Who Pulled Papers

Marlborough candidates began pulling papers on May 8 and have until Aug. 18 to file to run for mayor, city council and school committee.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Election season is underway in Marlborough, with nearly two dozen candidates signaling their intention to run for office in 2023, according to the city clerk.

The filing period to run for office opened on May 8 and will close Aug. 18. During that time, candidates can pull papers and collect signatures in order to get on the ballot for the Nov. 7 election (and an Oct. 10 preliminary, if one is necessary).

In 2023, Marlborough voters will go to the polls to elect a new mayor, four at-large councilors, seven ward city councilors, three school committee members and one Assabet Valley Regional Technical School Committee member.

As of May 18, here are the candidates who have pulled papers to run. An (i) indicates an incumbent, and an (r) indicates that a candidate who has returned filing papers for certification.
