Whether it was the intense thunderstorms or the following muggy heat, the city saw wild weather over the last week.

Things started off with a bang, or maybe more of a rumble, when lightning storms hit the city Wednesday night. The intense storms caused more than 10 alarms to go off throughout the city, with one of those being for a lightning strike that did an .
The lightning was followed by a muggy heat that hung over the city, with temperatures hovering near and even exceeding 90 degrees.
