UPDATED: Worker Injured in Fall at Carroll Water Treatment Plant

Updated: Marlborough firefighters and EMTs responded Tuesday morning to a report of a man who fell at the state-run John J. Carroll Water Treatment Plant.

The man was taken by ambulance to Emerson Hospital in Concord, according to an initial scanner alert. He fell from a ladder, about 10 to 12 feet, inside the facility, according to a state spokeswoman.
