Five Things You Need to Know Today: November 5

1. Alex's sYsters meet this evening at Alex’s Place at the YMCA. Young women ages 13 – 18 can find support and learn new skills from professional women from our community. This project is free of charge. Visiting teens also happily welcomed. 5 pm.

2. There is a benefit dinner tonight with Chef Chris Fischer and the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School students to support the high school's new garden. $30/adult $15 children under twelve, limited seating. 5:30 pm garden tour with snacks and music by the MVRHS string quartet, 6pm dinner. 3. The West Tisbury Library November Film Series at the Chilmark Library starts tonight with “Movies in Another Realm” every Monday evening. The series is free and open to the public.  Popcorn included. 7 pm. For more information, call (508) 693-3366
