Trick-Or-Treating Postponed In Oak Bluffs, Tisbury
Due to impeding bad weather, trick-or-treating has been postponed in Oak Bluffs and Tisbury.
MARTHA'S VINEYARD — Due to impeding rain and wind forecast for Halloween night, trick-or-treating is being postponed in Oak Bluffs and Tisbury. Halloween events are now scheduled for Saturday, according to police.
In Tisbury, Main Street will be closed from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for the Halloween parade, which will be followed by trick-or-treating at local businesses, according to Martha Vineyard Times. Other streets in Tisbury will be closed later that evening.
In Oak Bluffs, the portion of Vineyard Avenue between Dukes County and Norris avenues will close to traffic starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
