Child with Trouble Breathing, Bleeding Bike Rider, Injured Cat, and More

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Nov. 9 and Nov. 10.

Saturday, Nov. 9

5:56 a.m., Forest Street. E911 caller said his seven-year-old son who is having trouble breathing. Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

11:50 a.m., Main Street. Police noticed a man in the Shaw's parking lot who was writing down license plate numbers. When the man saw the policeman, he took off. The man's car is registered to a Medfield resident.

1:49 p.m., Harding Street. Caller reporter a house door ajar and asked police to check it out. All is well.

3:13 p.m., Causeway Street. Walk-in report of possible internet fraud. 

7:46 p.m., North Street. Caller reported a big box truck parked on the sidewalk near 24 North Street. Gone on arrival.

8:35 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller requested an ambulance for a 72-year-old man who was not feeling well. He was taken to Norwood Hospital. 

8:46 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a 2009 Ford Pickup truck driving erratically on Main Street near Nebo Street. Gone on arrival.

9:10 p.m., High Street. Caller reported a 2013 Infiniti driving erratically going northbound on Route 27. Gone on arrival.

Sunday, Nov. 10

8:15 a.m., station. A woman walked into the station and asked for assistance. Police called her daughter to pick her up.

10:29 a.m., Granite Street. E911 caller reported a bike rider fell off her bike and is bleeding. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.

12:56 p.m., Valley Road. E911 caller said his wife was not feeling well. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.

2:47 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a large wooden crate in the road near the transfer station. DPW workers will take care of it. 

8:12 p.m., Dale Street. Caller reported an injured cat. Animal Control was notified.

9:06 p.m., Donnelly Drive. Caller said that nearby dogs have been barking for quite a while. Police called the house but no one answered; they left a message.
