Leaf Blowing Neighbors, McCarthy Fields Vandalism, Stolen Newspaper, and More

Here's a look at the Medfield police log for Nov. 12 and Nov. 13, including a car versus gas pump accident.

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Nov. 12 and Nov. 13.

Tuesday, Nov. 12

1:42 a.m., Hearthstone Drive, Bow Street. Caller said they had no power. Police discovered the transformer on Hearthstone Drive looks like the transformer has old damage. Police also had a call from Bow Street who siad they had no power. NStar said they had no calls about the area, and said they would send a crew to check it out. 

5:17 a.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller reported a large tree down across the road on Hearthstone near Bow Street. Tree removed from street.

7:19 a.m., North Street. Caller said she head a gunshot behind her house. Police said there were no gunshots or anyone in the area.

7:41 a.m., Main Street. Police responded to a car accident involving a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2008 Infiniti. 

8:08 a.m., West Street. Patrolman requested the highway department to clean up some stone in the road at West Street and West Mill Street. 

9:03 a.m., West Mill Street. Police said the area between West Street and Adams Street will be closed while sewer work is done in the area. The fire and school departments were notified. 

9:35 a.m., Elm Street. Caller said that every morning someone steals her newspaper between 5:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.

4:43 p.m., High Street. Caller said he has a large truck trying to back up into his driveway and he needs help stopping traffic. 

4:53 p.m., Wight Street. E911 caller reported a problem with her fireplace, possibly a chimney fire. The Westport Fire Department also called regarding this call, it went to their department.

5:26 p.m., North Street. Car accident at North and Harding Streets involving a 2008 BMW and a 2003 Mazda Protege. 

6:21 p.m., Main Street. Car accident on Main Street in front of Town Hall involving a 2007 Lexus, 2010 Toyota Camry, and a 2003 Acura. 

Wednesday, Nov. 13

2:13 a.m., South Street. E911 caller requested an ambulance for a 71-year-old man who was not feeling well.

8:41 a.m., Main Street. Walk-in report from a woman who said her neighbor is blowing leaves onto her property. Problem resolved.

11 a.m., Main Street. E911 caller reported a car accident in the convenience store parking lot involving a 2006 Subaru and a 2010 Mercedes; one of the cars hit the gas pump and was towed. 

11:24 a.m., Pound Street. Walk-in report of fraud/identity theft at Tilden Village.

11:24 a.m., Hospital Road. The Parks and Recreation Department said that a car drover over the McCarthy Fields causing damage.
