Medfield Environment Action To Host A Sustainable House Tour

Medfield Environment Action will host Medfield’s first Sustainable House Tour on Sunday, October 19 from 1 - 2:30 pm.

Medfield resident Glen D’Abate will be highlighting his solar panel installation, EV charging station and geothermal (ground source) heat pump system. He has greatly reduced his carbon footprint by investing in these sustainable technologies. In addition, he has done several weatherization projects which also contribute to his lower carbon footprint.

Attendees will tour the house with Glen to get firsthand information on the installation process, costs and return on investment. He also has a Solar Shed for charging electric lawn equipment. Whether you are just curious or seriously considering investing in one of these technologies, plan to attend this very informative event.
