MEDFIELD, MA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your mom extra special?
Even though I am grown adult, my mom is always looking out for me whether that is flagging a sale, picking me up at the train station or babysitting my senior dog, Spanky. She has always put me first and continues to do so — all with a healthy sense of humor.
Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?
She is so kind, selfless and I hope I can be as good as her.
