MHS Principal Announces Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program

MHS Principal Robert Parga is proud to announce the six Medfield High School seniors who have received this distinction.

MHS Principal Robert Parga announces Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) was established in 1955 specifically to conduct the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Scholarships are underwritten by NMSC with its own funds and by approximately 420 business organizations and higher education institutions that share NMSC’s goals of honoring the nation’s scholastic champions and encouraging the pursuit of academic excellence.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2026 competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Te (PSAT/NMSQT®).

Medfield High School Principal Robert Parga is proud to announce the following seniors have received this distinction: Lauren Barr, Warren Churchill, Elizabeth Hennessy, Rudra Mishra, Aleeza Shusterman,and Karen Wu.
