Registration Opens for 2013 Medfield Youth Soccer 3 vs. 3 Tournament

1. Registration is now open for the 2013 Medfield 3 vs. 3 Soccer Tournament, to be held on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Ralph Wheelock School fields. For more information, please go to www.medfieldsoccer.org or https://www.facebook.com/Medfield3v3. This is Medfield Youth Soccer's biggest annual fundraiser, and a lot of fun!

2. Anton Cleaners and Blake Middle School students are teaming up for the Coats for Kids Drive this year.

3. Stop by the Grist Mill this week, and see the change: after a dedication on Sunday, the water wheel was set in motion, and a small water flow started up.

4. Nomination for Volunteer of the Year awards in three different categories are being taken by the Medfield Foundation. Anyone interested in submitting a nomination for one of the 2014 Medfield Foundation volunteer awards can download the official form from www.MedfieldFoundation.org. Completed forms should be e-mailed as attachments to MFiVolunteerAward@gmail.comno later than January 31.

5. Massachusetts State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint on a public way in Norfolk County on Saturday, Nov. 28 into Sunday, Nov. 29.
