Sustainable Medfield receives grant from the Medfield Foundation's Legacy Fund

Sustainable Medfield would like to thank the Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund for its generous donation to support the creation of a booklet for new homeowners that will introduce ways in which you can be more sustainable at home. Sustainable Medfield was honored to receive a $2,900 grant for this project. With the support of the Legacy Fund, Sustainable Medfield will promote sustainability awareness and reach and engage Medfield’s newest residents to improve our environment.

Sustainable Medfield provides residents a one-stop resource of Medfield-specific ACTIONS to improve our environment and reduce our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, Sustainable Medfield connects community groups to network and collaborate on issues related to sustainability.

The Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund is a professionally-managed endowment created to support community-driven projects. Volunteer-run and designed to complement the initiatives of Medfield organizations, the Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund raises funds from the community and makes grants to established non-profit organizations through a competitive process.
