The Hannah Adams Woman's Club is the namesake of Hannah Adams (1755-1831) who was born and raised in Medfield, and ran a similar women’s group during her lifetime. The club is purportedly the longest continuously running women’s group in America, was officially incorporated in 1894, and is committed to supporting women and the community, including the annual Hannah Adams Scholarship (est. 1905).
