Tweens Ask Big Box Store to Make Products Safer

Local sixth graders ask the cosmetic industry to make their products safer.

Last week, a group of sixth grade girls from Medfield delivered 70 signatures to Target to advocate for safer ingredients in personal care products and cosmetics.

Those girls -- Kayla Keegan, Aiveen Pidcock, Erin Cooney, Lori V, (Store Manager), Sophia Gustafson, Tess Patry -- are asking readers to join them in their effort to "give the Cosmetics Industry a Makeover" at www.safercosmetics.org/takeaction
