WEATHER UPDATE: 'Strong to Severe' Thunderstorms Possible in Medfield
A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for most of Massachusetts, including Medfield.

Weather forecasters are calling a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms in Norfolk County.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for all of Massachusetts, except Berkshire County.
Today residents will see a moderate probability for scattered strong to severe thunderstorms, the NWS said. In addition to heavy rain and lightning, there is a possibility for large hail and strong, damaging winds.

The National Weather Service said the threats begin Tuesday morning and will continue into the evening hours.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely after 3 p.m. Tuesday, some of which could produce small hail, heavy rain and frequent lightning. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. The high temperature is expected to be near 89 degrees.

Weather forecasters are calling for a 30 percent of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 p.m., some of which could also produce small hail, heavy rain and frequent lightning. Conditions will be mostly cloudy, then gradually become mostly clear. Tuesday’s low temperature is expected to be bear 59 degrees.
