Marzilli Hearing Today: Former State Senator James Marzilli is scheduled to appear in Middlesex County Superior Court in Lowell this morning. Marzilli is accused of lewdly harassing women in Lowell on several occasions in 2008.
: The city council meets at 7 p.m. tonight at city hall. It's Mark Arena's second meeting as a member of the council and he has a couple items on the agenda relating to traffic safety in South Medford.

Panel Talk On Young Arabs at Tufts: Titled, "What they fear, what they seek: Understanding young Arabs who are reshaping their societies," this discussion features Rami G. Khouri, director of the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beiru, and Mohamed Younis, a Gallup senior analyst based in Doha, Qatar. It starts at 12 p.m. at Ballou Hall. Lunch will be served.
