Snow, Then Rain, Makes For Icy Roads This Morning: Heavy snow followed by rain last night prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory and Hazardous Weather Outlook last night. The weather service also predicts a 70 percent chance of rain this morning. Watch out for black ice. 

: A stalemate vote of 3-3-1 means the Fire Department will have to continue to wait on starting the process for station renovations.

: Stephanie Burke got the nod from her colleagues on the city council last night, who unanimously approved a request from the mayor to petition the state legislature to allow Burke to become the city's next budget and personnel director.
