Good morning, Medford. Here's five things to know today:

On Friday night, Medford Police responded to shots fired at 55 Jerome Street where they found two victims suffering from serious gun shot wounds. John Hatch, 36, died after being transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, according to the press release. His father was also shot, but is expected to survive. The shootings are being investigated by the State Police and Medford Police.

A Dusting of Snow: About an inch of snow is expected to fall today, according to the National Weather Service. Today's high is 31 degrees.

: The Medford High School boys varsity basketball team needs to win the rest of it's games to make the playoffs. They play Stoneham tonight at 7 p.m. at the high school.

Richard Falta, 43, no address given, was arrested at about 12:45 p.m. last Thursday at 62 Morton Ave. on an outstanding warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
