Good morning, Medford. Here's five things to know today:

City Council Talks Crime: Before it's regular meeting tonight, the council will meet as a whole at 6 p.m. to discuss recent crime activity and public safety.

The Science of Kissing: Author Sheril Kirshenbaum will speak and hold a book signing today at Barnum Hall on the Tufts campus at 6:30 p.m. Her book, "The Science of Kissing: What Our Lips Are Telling Us about Us," combines classical history, evolutionary biology, popular culture, and scientific research to examine kissing. 

Rain, Snow, Stop: Today's forecast -- Sunny with a high of about 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tomorrow will also be sunny but cooler, with a high of 24 degrees.

Surviving and Thriving Though and After Divorce: Led by Christopher Carbone, a family law attorney and Medford Family Network parent leader, this presentation will focus on communication during the difficult time of a divorce. It starts at 7 p.m. at the MFN center in the high school.

Coffee with the Headmaster: Medford High School parents are invited to join Headmaster Paul Kueger for a cup of Joe this morning, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
