There's a 20 percent chance of snow tonight, and a 50 percent chance of snow or rain tomorrow, according to the weather service. Today's high is expected to be about 38 degree.
String Quartet at Tufts: Enjoy the sounds of strings tonight at 8 p.m. at Distler Performance Hall, where for an evening of music by a Tufts master's student.

Story Time is for ages ages 2 to 5. Drop by the Medford Public Library at 10 a.m. for a story and simple craft.
Civil Action Screening Tomorrow: The real Jan Schlichtmann will be on hand for a screening of the film at 7 p.m. at the Regent Theatre in Arlington. Schlichtmann, who is depicted in the movie by John Travolta, led a civil action against those responsible for contaminating the City of Woburn's water supply.

Local Stories at the Library Thursday: During 2010 a film crew and several interviewers hit the streets with the aim to tell Medford Stories. The interviewees talked about the role of the family, the bustle of the Square, getting totally involved in sports and sharing good times at such hot spots as the Bal-a-Roue. In “those days” Medford was a place to make lasting friendships, enjoy every day life and appreciate things that had come before. The screening will be a 7 p.m. at the library.
