Video: Bill Cosby Visits Tufts
The comedic legend collected an award for outstanding childrens' media.
Comedic legend Bill Cosby paid a visit to Tufts University Friday morning to collect an award, and, of course, crack a few jokes too.
Cosby, along with educator and social commentator Alvin F. Poussaint from Harvard University, were honored at the fifth annual Eliot-Pearson Awards for Excellence in Children's Media at Distler Performance Hall at Tufts.
The awards are given every two years to recognize innovation, diversity, non-violence and developmentally appropriate media for children, according to the release from university spokeswoman Katie Cinnamond.
