Fire Log: House Fires on Marion Street and Sherwood Road

Medford Fire Department crews quickly put out two house fires between Feb. 9 and Feb. 15.

At about 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, crews put out a fire at 26 Marion St., that apparently started in the kitchen stove, according to fire officials (Read more about this fire ).

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, at about 5:24 p.m., the fire department responded to 44 Sherwood Road, where a fire had started in the fire place area on the first floor and spread along the chimney to the second floor and attic (Read more about this fire ).

No one was hurt in either fire.
