Medford Reports Error In Some Mail-In Ballots

An important component was left out of some mail-in voter packages. Residents should not send their ballot back until they receive it.

MEDFORD, MA — The city informed residents Thursday of an error in the mailing of some absentee and mail-in voter packages that were sent out earlier this week. The Elections Department said the yellow interior ballot envelope was inadvertently left out of some ballot packages mailed to voters.

The office started mailing the yellow envelope to impacted voters Thursday. Residents should not mail their ballot back until they receive it.

Questions may be directed to the Registrars of Voters at 781-393-2491.
