Medford's Tringale Hoping for NHL Future

Medford's Devin Tringale is trying to make a name for himself as a National Hockey League prospect as the leading scorer on Valley Junior Warriors of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. Trinagle, who will be attending Harvard University this fall, was recently profiled on Boston.com.

Tringale was the Independent School League MVP at Lawrence Academy last year and made a berth at the USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game but did not get drafted by an NHL team. Despite playing now with a couple NHL draftees, Tringale's coach told Boston.com he is "as good as they are if not a little better in some aspects."

Tringale helped lead Lawrence Academy to the New England Prep School Hockey Association championship last year.
