The Boston Globe Show is the state branch of the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. This year, public, parochial, and private school throughout Massachusetts submitted thousands of individual pieces of art in media ranging from traditional drawing and painting to digital arts and experimental sculpture. Work was adjudicated by a panel of artists, art educators and creative professionals. Students had to demonstrate technical proficiency, creative expression, and a sense of personal vision.
