Obituary: Anthony Giurleo, of Medford

Anthony Domenic Giurleo, 23 of Medford, April 5, 2015.

Beloved son of Jean and Tony Giurleo.

Brother of Emily Tucci and her husband Daniel, Elena and Jonathan Giurleo all of Medford.

Grandson of William F. Griffiths of Somerville and the late Florence Griffiths, Dominic and Carmela Giurleo.

Nephew to his loving aunts and uncles, cousin to so many that he considered his friends and friend to so many that he considered his family.

Anthony was active in sports throughout his life and earned a varsity letter in baseball. Anthony graduated from Medford High School in 2009 and attended Middlesex Community College and Minuteman Technical Institute to earn his plumbing license. Anthony loved spending time with his family and friends, making people laugh, and showing his love and affection for all of the people he held dear to him.

Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Friday morning at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, Medford at 11:15. Relatives and friends invited.

Calling hours Thursday 4-8.

Interment Oak Grove Cemetery.
