Police Log: Level 3 Sex Offender Arrested on Morton Ave.

A man considered a high risk sex offender was arrested on Morton Avenue Thursday on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

Richard Falta, 43, no address given, was arrested at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday at 62 Morton Ave. on an outstanding warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

Falta was previously convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 in 2004, according to data from the Department of Justice. He is considered a high risk offender, according to the Justice Department. His last known address was homeless/State Street Station, Boston, according to Justice Department records.
