Police Log: Man Arrested at Hospital, Charged with Drug Possession

A Barbara Lane man arrested Monday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital faces a drug possession charge, according to police records.

Matthew Barrile, 26, of 3 Barbara Lane, was arrested at 170 Governors Ave. -- the hospital's address -- at about 8:30 p.m. Monday and subsequently charged with possession of a class B drug, according to the police log.

State law considers Cocaine, LSD, Ecstasy, oxycodone and methamphetamine among class B substances. The police log does not specify what drug Barrile allegedly possessed.
