• Eight cats killed, resident hospitalized, after Medway MA fire (metrowestdailynews.com) — A Medway resident was hospitalized and eight cats died after a garage fire Monday at a home on Evergreen Street, though firefighters stopped the flames from spreading inside the house. Crews from nearby towns assisted as the 175-year-old property’s detached garage and its contents were destroyed, while damage to the home was limited to the exterior.
