• Man accused of threatening person with gun at Medway Shaw's (wcvb.com) — Police are investigating reports that a man threatened someone with a gun outside the Shaw’s supermarket at Holliston and Appleton streets in Medway, prompting a temporary hold on walking students at Medway Middle School. No arrests have been made, the suspect search continues, and all students have since been safely released to their families.
   

• USA Luge races to another stellar World Cup (lakeplacidnews.com) — A World Cup luge stop in Lake Placid produced four medals and multiple top-10 finishes for Team USA, including strong showings in doubles, singles, and mixed relay events.
