1) I love a rainy night: Mostly sunny today, with a high near 73. South wind between 8 and 16 mph. A chance of showers, mainly after 8pm. Increasing clouds, with a low around 59. South wind between 7 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. (Forecast by the National Weather Service.)

2) The board of education took away my parole: The Melrose School Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. Among the items on the agenda: Multi-tiered Support System; Approval of the Acera School; and the MSC Web Page.

3) Know your rights: The Melrose Human Rights Commission meets tonight at 7:30 p.m.

4) I'm a wife in watercolors: The Milano Senior Center holds at 9:30 a.m. for $5 per session. Any media and all skill levels are welcome.
