SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville Police received the following reports between Saturday, March 8 and Monday, March 10. Saturday, March 8 2:02 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on Cedar Street. A man claimed a woman stole his hat off of his head when he was standing on the bike path. Sunday, March 9 5:51 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a weapon being used on 779 McGrath Highway. Two juvenile males reported being chased by five other juveniles with knives. Two knives were recovered from the group. Monday, March 10 12:20 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a home on Cameron Avenue. Landlord reported his tenants' bikes were stolen while they were away.
