At a special meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2012, the Melrose School Committee will hold a public hearing on the School Department’s FY13 budget. The public is invited to attend. The public hearing will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chambers at Melrose City Hall.
The fiscal year 2013 budget is proposed at $25,924,041, which includes an increase in City Appropriation in the amount of $700,000 prior to the proposed shift of maintenance and related budget to the Department of Public Works.
