7:07 a.m. Walk-in report of many sleeping in lobby of on Main Street.

Tuesday, May 22
8:46 a.m. Report of past larceny from lawn on Aaron Street.
10:45 a.m. Caller reports seeing white male, approximately 18 years old, wearing a blue jean jacket and possibly gray sweatpants jump fence into the rear of a yard at Echo Street and Whitman Avenue and is now on porch of one of the houses in the area.
2:54 p.m. Disturbance in emergency room.
3:16 p.m. Third party report of a vehicle accident at West Wyoming Avenue and Pleasant Street, both vehicles in store parking lot. A 53-year-old Melrose man was issued a summons on charges of driving with suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage and failing to stop at a stop sign.
4:52 p.m. Report from Temple Street of credit card fraud.

9:38 a.m. Medical overdose on Mount Vernon Avenue. Transported to hospital.
2:50 p.m. Multiple power outages reported, National Grid and notified to put up signs at Green and Main, Porter and Main, Emerson and Main. National Grid on scene.
11 p.m. Bike reported stolen from Banks Place.

1:19 a.m. Larceny reported from .
4:30 a.m. Disturbance reported by nurse at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
9:17 p.m. Caller reported large group going into the woods in the area of Aaron Street. Officers cleared that area of the group.
Saturday, May 26
12:09 p.m. Walk-in report of possible harassment.
2:36 p.m. Walk-in report of concern for a domesticated animal. Animal control notified.
10:51 p.m. Past vandalism reported from Forest Street.
Sunday, May 27
3:18 a.m. Gunshot victim reported at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Man treated and released for a gunshot wound to his thigh, according to Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau, who declined to comment further citing an ongoing investigation.
2:29 p.m. Report of larceny of prescription drugs from Green Street.
8:03 p.m. Caller reported four kids in the woods off Washington Street with a tripod set up. Officers along with state searched area to no avail.
