Person reported riding his bike down the street when he was struck by what appeared to be small vodka bottles thrown from a gray mini-van or SUV, according to Melrose Police Lt. Mark DeCroteau. No license plate info obtained. Ambulance called as precautionary measure.

Sunday, June 3
7:17 a.m. Report of vehicle on Rowe Street throwing trash into the street. Officer stopped vehicle on Upham Street, returning to Rowe to pick up trash. An 18-year-old South Pasadena, FL man was issued a summons on charges of underage possession of liquor, driving with a suspended license, littering from a motor vehicle and no inspection sticker.
1:37 p.m. Patient at reports property stolen.
10:37 p.m. Accident at Upham and Lebanon Streets involving two vehicles. Three people taken to the hospital, both cars towed, Upham and Lebanon Street sign down on the ground.

A 21-year-old Danvers man was issued a summons on Monday, May 28 on the charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
