MELROSE, MA — The Public Schools District announced to the School Committee during its most recent meeting that it received a satisfactory audit report.

The audit was conducted on the budget for Fiscal Year 2024, which ended that calendar year on June 30. According to district officials, the audit returned “no findings,” meaning that the district’s financial statements are deemed to be in order and meeting standards for clarity, accuracy, regulatory compliance and accounting best practices.

The audit was conducted by Certified Public Accounting Firm CBIZ. Mayor Jen Grigoraitis expressed her satisfaction with the School Committee and Deputy Superintendent for Finance and Operations Ken Kelley based on the results of the audit.
