From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

In their first game since losing out on a Super Bowl to Dartmouth, the Melrose Red Raiders thumped the Masconomet Chieftains in their 2015 season opener on Friday evening.The Red Raiders had much to celebrate from start to finish, earning an impressive 41-14 win at Fred Green Field.On offense, running back Mike Pedrini was unstoppable.
