Melrose Trying To Fill Holes On Multiple Committees

The Mayor announced openings on eight different government entities.

MELROSE, MA — The city is in need of numerous volunteer residents to fill vacancies on multiple boards and commissions, Mayor Jen Grigoraitis announced.

The organizations with at least one current vacancy are the Melrose Cultural Council, Melrose Scholarship Fund, Human Rights Commission, Historical Commission, Historic District Commission Beebe Estate Board of Trustees, Cable Television Commission, and Melrose Senior and Disabled Tax Relief Fund.
All of the boards and commissions are appointed by the Mayor and then approved by the City Council.

Residents looking to join are being asked to email a statement of interest to mayorsoffice@cityofmelrose.org.
