Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Portland, Maine, we are a leading curbside composting company in New England. From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

MELROSE, MA — The city is in need of numerous volunteer residents to fill vacancies on multiple boards and commissions, Mayor Jen Grigoraitis announced.The organizations with at least one current vacancy are the Melrose Cultural Council, Melrose Scholarship Fund, Human Rights Commission, Historical Commission, Historic District Commission Beebe Estate Board of Trustees, Cable Television Commission, and Melrose Senior and Disabled Tax Relief Fund. All of the boards and commissions are appointed by the Mayor and then approved by the City Council. Residents looking to join are being asked to email a statement of interest to mayorsoffice@cityofmelrose.org.
