Reminder: Public Hearing On Melrose Public Schools 2016 Budget Slated for April 28

Having undergone various drafts and updates since February, the 2016 budget for Melrose Public Schools - and the seven educational institutions it encompasses - will be made available for direct praise or scrutiny from the populace April 28, at 7 p.m. at the Aldermanic Chambers at Melrose City Hall.

In its current form, Superintendent Cyndy Taymore’s budget calls for $27,051,093 to be distributed through the system. In 2013, Melrose Public Schools’ budget was $25,630,727.
