Why Go: The Melrose/Sally Frank's Farmers' Market will hold its 7th planning meeting. If you would like to help plan the market or just want to know more about the market, please join. The market is getting close and there is still so much to do and plan. The farmers' market begins June 14 and ends October 25.  It runs every Thursday, rain or shine, from 1-7pm at Bowden Park on W. Emerson St. and Cedar Park.

Why Go: Melrose Arts will sponsor an evening Art Demonstration with Saugus artist, Diane Sawler McLaughlin. Diane will discuss and demonstrate her technique of foam monoprinting and also her use of fast matte oil painting. More info on Diane is available at www.studiodiane.blogspot.com.

Why Go: While the MVMMS 8th graders enjoy their semi-formal at the middle school, a regular middle school dance will be held at Melrose Highlands Congregational Church for 6th and 7th graders.
