From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

They had to go and have the first two.Pedro and Elena Bertolini were born at 8:10 and 8:13 a.m. Wednesday, adding to Marcelo and Juliana's family that already includes 10-year-old Maria. The newly grown Revere family is doing just fine, a hospital spokesperson said.
