VIDEO: Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Opens at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital

The new program uses hyperbaric oxygen chambers to help treat chronic wounds.

Last Thursday, hosted an open house for its new Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. Two hyperbaric oxygen chambers are used to treat chronic wounds including diabetic ulcers, venous and pressure ulcers as well as wounds caused by poor blood flow or other underlying medical conditions.
